Violoniste de formation, elle \u00e9tudie l\u2019art, l\u2019arch\u00e9ologie et la philosophie \u00e0 la Sorbonne tout en suivant une formation musicale approfondie au Conservatoire national sup\u00e9rieur de musique de Paris, o\u00f9 elle obtient six premiers prix, dont celui de composition, et s\u2019initie \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectroacoustique au Groupe de Recherches Musicales de l&rsquo;IRCAM. La curiosit\u00e9 d&rsquo;abord par rapport aux autres musiques, regarder des partitions, aller au concert, \u00e9couter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintenant, on a beaucoup de moyens \u00e0 notre disposition. Et puis, je dirais la curiosit\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 toutes les autres formes artistiques, par rapport \u00e0 la peinture, la po\u00e9sie, au cin\u00e9ma, tout ce qui peut nourrir l&rsquo;imaginaire, car l&rsquo;imaginaire est une chose extr\u00eamement importante. Et voil\u00e0, je dirais faire l&rsquo;apprentissage de la curiosit\u00e9, \u00eatre curieux.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>3.<\/strong> Et la troisi\u00e8me chose, c&rsquo;est l<strong>e m\u00e9tier<\/strong>. Pour moi, le m\u00e9tier a toujours eu \u00e9norm\u00e9ment d&rsquo;importance. Il faut donc apprendre \u00e0 exploiter tous les param\u00e8tres du son, apprendre \u00e0 les organiser, \u00e0 les organiser \u00e0 travers la forme, \u00e0 travers la gestion du temps et la gestion de l&rsquo;espace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et l\u00e0, je crois qu&rsquo;il faut vraiment \u00eatre extr\u00eamement vigilant au fait qu&rsquo;une musique s&rsquo;\u00e9crit, et qu&rsquo;elle s&rsquo;\u00e9crit dans le temps, et que l\u00e0, ce sont des param\u00e8tres qui sont vraiment tr\u00e8s importants \u00e0 savoir dominer et \u00e0 savoir exploiter.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>* Pour en savoir plus&#8230;<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" id=\"noir\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ElKMj89mwJE?si=aOBX2f2RQaW6u6wa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Edith Canat de Chizy<\/a> \u00e0 propos de \u00ab\u00a0<em>En noir et or\u00a0\u00bb <\/em>&#8211; Quatuor \u00e0 cordes n\u00b04<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Je voulais \u00e9crire un quatri\u00e8me quatuor, parce que l&rsquo;\u00e9criture du quatuor \u00e0 cordes, pour moi, est quelque chose de tr\u00e8s naturel, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que je suis violoniste et que j&rsquo;ai fait du quatuor \u00e0 cordes tr\u00e8s jeune. Et mon premier quatuor, je l&rsquo;ai vraiment \u00e9crit comme une \u00e9criture, pour moi, qui est tr\u00e8s naturelle. Donc j&rsquo;ai fait la deuxi\u00e8me, la troisi\u00e8me, et puis je voulais faire un quatri\u00e8me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est Emmanuel Andr\u00e9, de Philharmonie, qui m&rsquo;a appel\u00e9 au mois de mars, pour me demander si je voulais \u00e9crire un quatuor pour le quatuor Van Kuijk, pour la biennale du quatuor \u00e0 cordes, qui a lieu en janvier, mais dans le cadre d&rsquo;Eco Reasing Stars, qui consiste \u00e0 mettre en valeur justement de jeunes interpr\u00e8tes. Alors, c&rsquo;est un tout jeune ensemble qui ne fait tr\u00e8s peu de musique contemporaine, qui n&rsquo;en a pas encore fait beaucoup, disons. Et c&rsquo;est tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant parce que, justement, on a une sorte de terrain vierge pour travailler, et donc ce quatuor ne doit pas exc\u00e9der dix minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est pour \u00e7a que j&rsquo;ai fait un quatuor qui est d&rsquo;un seul mouvement, sur un sujet bien pr\u00e9cis. J&rsquo;ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait une pi\u00e8ce pour alto et piano sur un tableau de Whistler, qui s&rsquo;appelle \u00ab En bleu et or \u00bb, c&rsquo;est \u00ab Nocturne en bleu et or \u00bb, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;abbaye de Southampton. Et j&rsquo;aime beaucoup ce rapport avec la peinture, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire ce rapport entre la mati\u00e8re picturale et le mat\u00e9riau sonore, cette id\u00e9e de mati\u00e8re, qui donc, dans un tableau, peut \u00eatre une mati\u00e8re tr\u00e8s \u00e9paisse, ou au contraire, tr\u00e8s fluide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et je connaissais ce tableau, je l&rsquo;ai vu en r\u00e9alit\u00e9, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9 au mus\u00e9e Marmotan, et vraiment c&rsquo;\u00e9tait quelque chose qui m&rsquo;\u00e9tait rest\u00e9 en m\u00e9moire, et j&rsquo;ai eu envie de traiter ce quatuor \u00e0 cordes avec ce tableau en arri\u00e8re fond. Et c&rsquo;est pour \u00e7a que je l&rsquo;ai intitul\u00e9 du titre du tableau \u00ab En noir et or \u00bb. C&rsquo;est donc l&rsquo;image d&rsquo;un feu d&rsquo;artifice, la nuit, bien \u00e9videmment, c&rsquo;est le noir qui domine, mais c&rsquo;est aussi le mouvement, la rapidit\u00e9 de la fus\u00e9e qui s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ve, et la lenteur de la fus\u00e9e qui redescend. Il y avait plein de choses qui \u00e9voquaient, dans ce tableau, la diff\u00e9rence de mode de jeu, j&rsquo;ai jou\u00e9 justement l\u00e0-dessus, sur ce c\u00f4t\u00e9 myst\u00e9rieux, ce c\u00f4t\u00e9 actif, donc l&rsquo;aspect du mouvement qui a une grande importance aussi dans la musique.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Et puis cette opposition noir et or, qui pour moi aussi est quelque chose de tr\u00e8s important, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire l&rsquo;opposition des tessitures, l&rsquo;organisation des tessitures entre extr\u00eame grave, extr\u00eame aigu\u00eb, m\u00e9dium, etc. Donc l\u00e0 j&rsquo;ai utilis\u00e9 justement beaucoup de modes de jeu diff\u00e9rents, le mode de jeu peu appuy\u00e9, les pizz, les coll\u00e9gnaux, tout ce qu&rsquo;on conna\u00eet, mais les cordes \u00e9touff\u00e9es bien \u00e9videmment, de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;on passe, qu&rsquo;on change d&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re, que toutes les atmosph\u00e8res de ce tableau soient pr\u00e9sentes. Et surtout c&rsquo;est une \u00e9criture qui est extr\u00eamement bas\u00e9e sur le mouvement, sur la fluidit\u00e9, sur la rapidit\u00e9 du geste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour moi le geste est tr\u00e8s important, je pense que c&rsquo;est li\u00e9 aussi \u00e0 ma pratique du violon, parce que le geste instrumental est tr\u00e8s important dans le violon, peut-\u00eatre plus quand on est pianiste, plus quand on est instrumentiste avant, parce qu&rsquo;il y a cette notion de geste de gauche et de droite, la main gauche et la main droite, et du coup \u00e7a passe dans l&rsquo;\u00e9criture forc\u00e9ment, parce qu&rsquo;on a ces esp\u00e8ces, comme disait Messiaen, de sons fus\u00e9es, et je crois que vraiment toute ma musique est impr\u00e9gn\u00e9e de cette notion de geste. Chaque fois le quatuor \u00e0 cordes, ce qu&rsquo;il y a de tr\u00e8s exigeant c&rsquo;est la forme, et donc \u00e7a oblige vraiment \u00e0 tout contr\u00f4ler et \u00e0 creuser, vraiment la notion de timbre, la notion de mode de jeu, la notion de tout ce qu&rsquo;on peut faire avec l&rsquo;instrument \u00e0 cordes.
