Ela comp\u00f4s, tocou e dirigiu sua pr\u00f3pria m\u00fasica na Fran\u00e7a e nos Estados Unidos, o que era bastante raro na \u00e9poca (felizmente, os tempos mudaram!). Mas ela caiu em um esquecimento injustific\u00e1vel (mulher em um mundo de homens), dada a qualidade e a diversidade de sua obra. Compositora, maestrina, pianista e professora, Marcelle de Manziarly (1899-1989) teve alguma notoriedade entre a Primeira e a Segunda Guerra Mundial, antes de partir para os Estados Unidos e regressar a Fran\u00e7a ap\u00f3s o fim do conflito.&nbsp;Marcelle de Manziarly dividiu sua vida entre os dois pa\u00edses, e foi nos Estados Unidos que ela faleceu em 1989.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta brilhante aluna de Nadia Boulanger fazia parte, no entanto, do grupo de compositoras ativas na Fran\u00e7a no in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo XX, que s\u00f3 agora come\u00e7am a ser redescobertas, nomeadamente gra\u00e7as ao trabalho not\u00e1vel de editoras como La Bo\u00eete \u00e0 p\u00e9pites: Jeanne Leleu, Rita Strohl ou, claro, Lili Boulanger, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No entanto, n\u00e3o \u00e9 uma gravadora francesa, mas sueca, a Bis, que, at\u00e9 onde sabemos, oferece a primeira grava\u00e7\u00e3o dedicada \u00e0 m\u00fasica de c\u00e2mara de Marcelle de Manziarly. E \u00e9 um choque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pois esta compositora, cujas obras se estendem por mais de seis d\u00e9cadas, oferece um mundo sonoro diversificado e apaixonante. Um universo separa, de fato, a Sonata para violino e piano de 1918 do Trilogue de 1977. Mas a intensidade da m\u00fasica de Marcelle de Manziarly permanece intacta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os instrumentistas, a violinista Cecilia Zilliacus, a violoncelista Kati Raitinen, os pianistas Bengt Forsberg e Peter Friis Johansson dedicaram-se a ela com total paix\u00e3o. E com raz\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O disco abre assim com uma obra-prima, o Trio para piano de 1921. Marcelle de Manziarly ainda est\u00e1 no in\u00edcio de sua carreira, mas sua personalidade j\u00e1 est\u00e1 bem afirmada. O \u201cGrave, rude, sem lentid\u00e3o\u201d que abre a obra com for\u00e7a \u00e9 uma p\u00e1gina em constante mudan\u00e7a, tanto nos ritmos quanto nos timbres. Os \u201ctoques\u201d e \u201cbatidas\u201d de sinos do piano podem lembrar Ravel. \u00c9 todo um mundo de mist\u00e9rios que se abre para n\u00f3s e se prolonga ao longo da obra. Seja na dan\u00e7a alegre, mas inquieta, do Scherzo, ou nas disson\u00e2ncias discretas do terceiro movimento, \u201cSans trop de lenteur\u201d, antes do implac\u00e1vel \u201cRude\u201d final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Um universo sonoro totalmente diferente surge com o Dialogue para violoncelo e piano de 1970, despojado e mais dissonante. Os instrumentistas respondem-se primeiro atrav\u00e9s de curtas sequ\u00eancias minimalistas, quase o universo est\u00e1tico de um Morton Feldman, antes de se animarem pouco a pouco numa persegui\u00e7\u00e3o ofegante.<br>Retorno \u00e0 modalidade e ao brilho do \u201cin\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo\u201d com a Sonate pour violon et piano, de 1918. Mais uma vez, Marcelle de Manziarly nos oferece uma m\u00fasica luminosa, por vezes eleg\u00edaca, ao mesmo tempo serena e angustiada, sem qualquer afeta\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O disco termina com o misterioso Trilogue para violino, violoncelo e piano, de 1977. Sob a influ\u00eancia de sua estadia nos Estados Unidos, Marcelle de Manziarly retoma a veia minimalista e dissonante do Dialogue para violoncelo e piano. Mas a m\u00fasica nunca cai no artif\u00edcio ou na aridez.
